Admissions & what to bring

Coming to the hospital for surgery or treatment can be stressful, but knowing and understanding your hospital’s admission procedure can help relieve this stress.

There are important documents and items that you should bring with you while others are best to leave home.

Preparing for Surgery

It is important for you to know what you can do to prepare for your surgical procedure.

Planning will help ensure you have a successful surgery and heal faster with a smooth recovery.

Your role in safety

Your safety is extremely important to us. We are constantly working to help prevent injury  and falls. We also evaluate and improve processes to prevent medication errors, and the spread of germs.

Our goal is to have you well so you can return home as soon as possible. You can help create a safe environment in the hospital by working with the doctors and nurses taking care of you.

Patient Satisfaction

At La Loma Luz Adventist Hospital, we take pride in providing exceptional patient care.

We know that there is always room for improvement and your suggestions help us improve the quality of our services.

Should you have a question or concern regarding your experience, we would be happy to address this with you.

Spiritual support

The Pastoral Care Team is here to support you by providing spiritual guidance and support through times of illness and the associated uncertainty.

If at any moment you would need prayer or spiritual support, we would happily arrange for it. These services are free of charge.
